Here are some frequently asked tipi questions to help with your enquiry.

How many people fit in one Tipi?

We generally suggest no more than 50 people per Tipi but it really does depend on the type of event that you are planning. For a party in your back garden a Tipi is more than comfortable for around 75 standing guests with an area for a band as well. If you a going for more of a formal sit down meal then work on the basis of 50 per Tipi, especially if you want a dance floor.

How much space do tipis need?

The exact space needed will depend upon the numbers of tipis being erected and if you need a catering tent linked onto the structures. Catering tents can add an extra 6mx6m to the floor plan. When we set up we’ll also need a few additional metres to the footprint to be able to layout the poles on the ground before they’re lifted into position. You can view example tipi tent layouts here.

How do we book with you?

Drop us an email or give us a call to for us to confirm prices and that we cover your area and also have the necessary tipis free in the diary. If you will be based at a location that we haven’t covered before we’ll arrange to come out and meet with you at the venue so we can talk face to face and survey the location. If we’ve been there before will arrange to meet face to face with you where-ever it’s most convenient. We unfortunately can’t hold dates without a deposit which is 25% of the booking. This locks out the tipi tents and your date in our diary and the final 75% is due one month before your event.

What area do you cover?

Our warehouse is in Hockliffe, Bedfordshire and we offer 30 miles FREE delivery, we do however travel outside this radius but a small delivery cost will be charged.

What is included in the price?

VAT, delivery within 30 miles, damage waivers and of course the Tipis; but it doesn’t stop there. We work on a ‘Price you see, is the Price you pay’ basis. When we entered the market we realised that many companies used a low headline price to entice you in; our packages clearly outline what is included in the price and cover enough for your whole event without any additional costs.

What if it rains?

If it rains, it rains! There is no issue when you are sheltered inside our fully waterproof Tipis, the only thing that could cause an issue is if the wind reaches 40 miles per hour, at this point the only difference is that the lifted edge must be dropped. It has rained many times at previous events but this has never stopped our clients having an amazing time – you can read their stories here.

Could you recommend a venue for me to have my Tipi event?

Yes, we work very closely with a couple of local venues including Beaumont Hall and have worked at over 100 different places in the last 5 years. We would be more than happy to suggest one local to you if you need. You can view all our recommended venues here

What are the dimension of the tables?

Our rustic pine tables are 2m long by 70cm wide. They consist of three lengths of wood with a 2cm gap between each so if you’re planning table decorations it’s best not to hide the gap otherwise glasses can easily topple. You can view our gallery of interior tables here

Do you provide a bar?

Yes, we can provide rustic pallet bar structures with the tipis and they’re roughly 2m long, 1m high and 70cm – 1m in depth.  All that you need to add are drinks and perhaps someone to serve.
