3 Tipi Tent Floor Plan

Laura and Aaron’s tipi wedding began on an October morning at their local town hall, where they had a fantastic ceremony with all their friends and family. Once they had spoken their vows, everyone made their way over to the family home where the reception got underway.

The plan was to have a quick glass of champagne on the lawn outside before heading into the Tipis but this had to be moved inside due to the traditional British weather. As the wedding took place in early October, there was a contingency plan in place for everyone to meet in the first Tipi for their reception drink. With the fire pit glowing (view our tipi extras) everyone forgot about the rain and began to move to their seat for the stunning meal provided by one of our recommend suppliers, Wild Garlic Catering.

As the evening drew in the rain continued, fortunately the guests could only tell by the gentle pitter-patter of raindrops on the canvas above them. Soon masked by the sound of laughter during the speeches, the guests forgot about the weather entirely as some grouped around the fire pit for a final toast to the bride and groom before heading over to the dance floor.

A word from Mr and Mrs C

“We used The Natural Tent company for our wedding. Everything was amazing from start to finish. Mark and Chris were so patient and accommodating to all our requests, including several last minute changes that we asked for. No ask was too big and they were both brilliant to work with.

The tipis themselves looked incredible. So many of our guests complimented them and said how amazing they were. They looked beautiful and so cosy – it was just as we imagined. Even with the rain (all day!) we had a brilliant time, and actually the rain kept everyone huddled inside around the fire rather than losing them walking round the garden! We had about 90 guests and we had three tipis – one “reception” tent with the fire pit, one for eating and one for dancing. This set up was perfect and there was right amount of space to make it feel intimate but not too crowded.

All in all, we couldn’t have asked for more!”
